Pfizer has launched a new erectile dysfunction treatment in the UK, Viagra Connect, which will allow men with erectile dysfunction (ED) to buy the medication in the UK. Pfizer said the product will be available in the UK from September 2020.
Pfizer will be offering an exclusive generic version of Viagra Connect which will cost around £4 a tablet.
Pfizer said the exclusive generic version will come with a “comprehensive” warranty cover and will be fully generic.
“Pfizer believes that generic Viagra Connect will deliver on their promises and complement the comprehensive healthcare available to millions of men worldwide by cutting down on the pills and letting them live their best lives,” said Paul Butler, Pfizer’s medical manager in international product quality.
“With the availability of Viagra Connect in the UK, a new generation of sexual dysfunction treatments is gaining popularity and the potential for savings is truly high.”
Pfizer says that the generic version of Viagra Connect is clinically proven to help men with ED last for as long as five to seven hours.
The company also says that the exclusive generic version will come with a “comprehensive” warranty and fully generic.
The exclusive generic version of Viagra Connect will be sold in the UK from September 2020.

DHT is a group of proteins that make hair follicles (the areas of hair that produce glands on the scalp) smaller and more visible. When there is a loss of hair, the amount of blood that is able to flow to the scalp and the more blood is able to flow there is improvement.
However, this blood flow may not be enough to get an erection for all future sexual dates, so the erection may not have been achieved at all in the past. If not achieved at all in the past, DHT can cause drowsiness, a potentially serious side effect of the drug.
Viagra Connect does not protect against other sexually transmitted diseases, so it should not be used by people who have previously had a serious medical condition.
The generic version of Viagra Connect will be available starting September 2020.
